Documentary film screening for BAFTA-nominated documentary film Rebellion (Maia Kenworthy & Elena Sánchez Bellot, 2021).
‘Rebellion’ follows the inner workings of Extinction Rebellion, combining interviews with organisers alongside protest footage. The film documents the discords that erupt internally following the popularity, and later notoriety, of their 2019 demonstrations.
Join the directors in a panel discussion on Thursday 25th May in Documenting Change: Environmental activism in documentary filmmaking to discuss how filmmakers can portray change in times of crisis.
